GCash overseas beta announced for OFWs!

The Fintech platform announces the beta version of GCash Overseas which is intended for Filipino workers abroad in select countries.

This is a new way for OFWs to send money to their families instead of using the traditional Pera padala channels.

To use GCash says, you only need to register your international SIM in Japan, Australia, and Italy.

Supported countries

Gcash stated that users can enjoy Free Send Money to any GCash account, Pay Bills, Buy Load,s and more. They also noted that users will have to verify their account with a PH passport or any valid ID to start using.

However, since this is still in the beta stage, the service is only limited to select countries mentioned above, and that is only available to the first 1,000 users only.
