Globe shifts from telco to techco!
The said move is going to be led by President and CEO Ernest Cu. The company's presence is going to be an opportunity for expanding its business and showcasing its commitment to being the leader of innovation and progress.

Cu will talk on a panel with Transcelestial, of the firms supported by Globe Group's Kickstart Ventures about the brand's shift from telecom to techco. Moreover, he will join CEOs of top SEA telcos in a talk on new network-related technologies and connectivity in the country.
Meanwhile, GCash President and CEO Martha Sazon will speak about "New Behavior for a New Reality" at the said prestigious event. Sazon's discussion will focus on evolving user experience and its critical role as the metaverse strengthen.
In addition, Sazon will also speak at the "Fintech Summit: The Rise of Fintech Disruption", where talk about how fintech is enabling the "creation of powerful and disruptive solutions that are shaping the market"
As of this writing, Gcash has a value of USD 2 billion with a large user base of 76 million. And they continue to expand its services from payments, cash transfers to credit, savings, insurance, and investment products and features an e-commerce platform that gives different retail options like food, wellness, travel, recreation, and real estate services.

Also to recall, Gcash also launched its
Overseas beta version so that OFWs in Japan, Australia, and Italy can easily avail of the services of the firm and send money or receive money to their loved ones without going to "padala centers". However, the service is limited to 1,000 users only. But the firm promised that the full launch is going to happen this late 2023.
