Apart from the Magic 5 Pro, HONOR's own foldable smartphone goes global at the Mobile World Congress 2023.
The smartphone is being teased for quite some time and as a recap, it features a slim form factor of 12.9mm thin when folded and weighs 261 grams.
The phone's symmetrical design includes a smooth, gearless hinge developed with a single casting process, assuring no mishaps. The company promises that when the screen is unfolded, it will be "creaseless."
Opening it you'll be greeted with a wide 7.9-inch OLED screen with 2272 x 1984 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, HDR10+ support, 100 percent DCI-P3 broad color gamut,1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and up to 800 nits of peak brightness.
Inside, you'll get 3.2GHz SD8+ G1 octa-core chip, next-gen Adreno GPUm up to 16GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 66W fast charging.
For cameras, it has 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX800 sensor + 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide + 8MP f/2.4 3x optical zoom with LED flash. While the selfie shooter has 16MP f/2.45 powered by HONOR's Image Engine AI.
Others are a side-mounted fingerprint reader, infrared sensor, stereo speakers with IMAX Enhanced, DTS:X Ultra Algorithm, and 3-mic stereo voice reception.
For connectivity, it has WiFi 6, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support.
The operating system is Android 13 with MagicUI 7.1 skin on top.
