To those who missed it, OPPO released the A77s to the Philippine market late last year. We recently have had the chance to use it, so let's check it out.

This is one of OPPO's newest addition to its budget mid-range selection.

It is boasting a sleek design, a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset together with a large 5,000mAh battery with 33W USB-C SUPERVOOC fast charging, 8GB of RAM, 8GB Extended RAM, and 128GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD card, and Android 12 operating system. This also has a large 50MP main camera and stereo speakers.

Quick thoughts

The display

We think that the OPPO A77s is a pretty sleek-looking smartphone. It is fast enough to run most of your basic social media apps, a few editing tools, and light games. We also find it to be very power efficient and its main camera can take pretty good images.

If you really want an OPPO mid-ranger under PHP 14K, this could be an option.

However, there's plenty of fish in the sea as it is not the most competitive PHP 13,999 phone we have tested yet.
