BLU G72 Max w/ Helio G37 and 5,000mAh battery unveiled!

American phone maker BLU announces an entry-level smartphone called the G72 MAX with a MediaTek processor and a big battery.

The device appears in a combination of an Orange rear design and golden frames but there are also Black and Turquoise colorways, while up front it uses a dewdrop notch.

It has a big display of 6.8-inch IPS LCD with 720 x 1600 HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

The big screen

Inside, the phone is equipped with a 12nm 2.3GHz MTK Helio G37 SoC w/ PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is paired with a single 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The battery has 5,000mAh and charges using USB-C however the charging speed is not stated.

On the camera side, it has a 13MP primary followed by two unspecified sensors (possibly depth and macro). While the front-facing shooter uses an 8MP sensor.

Others mentioned are a rear-fingerprint scanner and Face ID for security purposes, speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

For connectivity, the list is 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and SIM support.

For OS, it runs Android 12 out of the box.

The brand did not mention when it's going to go on sale and its pricing. However, it is safe to assume it will be on the budget side based on its hardware. No word yet for other markets as well.
