HONOR Turbo 5G launched: Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, 8,560mAh battery, and 80W charging

HONOR has expanded its mid-range lineup with a new device aimed squarely at users who prioritize battery life above all else.

Low battery, no more?

The HONOR Turbo 5G has launched in the Eurasia region, available in Black, Green, and Orange. 

The phone weighs 196g, notably lighter than many competing handsets equipped with smaller 5,000mAh batteries, and features an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, allowing it to withstand more demanding everyday conditions than most devices in its price segment.

On the front, the Turbo 5G features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals.

The features

Powering the device is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, a mid-range processor that recorded approximately 1,070 points in single-core and 3,060 points in multi-core testing on Geekbench 6. 

Meanwhile, the chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The standout feature, however, is battery performance. The Turbo 5G houses an 8,560mAh battery, one of the largest in its class, supported by 80W wired fast charging.

For imaging, the phone includes a dual rear camera system comprising a 50MP main sensor and a 5MP ultrawide lens, alongside a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

As its name suggests, the device supports 5G connectivity, rounding out its mid-range feature set.

On the software side, the Turbo 5G runs MagicOS 10, built on top of Android 16.

It is currently available in Russia; the brand has not mentioned availability yet for other markets.
