ZTE Blade V40 Series announced in the Philippines, starts at PHP 7,999!

ZTE returns in the Philippines in the form of two smartphones—the Blade V40 Design and the Blade V40s.

The phone's design

ZTE Blade V40 Series is now official in PH!

Starting with the Blade V40 Design which is the lower version of the two. It comes with a matte-like finish on the rear cover with a vertical strip to add some contrast. While you can also notice two golden circular patterns on the camera islands.

The front view

Upfront, it uses a 6.6-inch LCD (IPS) screen with Full HD+ 1080 x 2408 resolution at 400 ppi density and 20:9 aspect ratio.

Inside, it is equipped with a 12nm 2.0GHz UNISOC T616 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 4GB or 6GB RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, and 4,500mAh battery w/ 22.5W USB-C fast charging.

For cameras, it uses 50MP f/1.8 w/ PDAF main sensor + 2MP macro + 2MP depth helpers. On the selfie side, it has 8MP.

The Blade V40s display

The next smartphone is the ZTE Blade V40s. It comes with a two-tone design on the rear cover with Black and a Darker Black while there's also a Blue and Blue green combo for those who prefer a lighter tone.

Its display is slightly bigger at 6.67 inches but now uses an AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 395 ppi, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Inside, the phone gets a slight upgrade with a 12nm 2.0GHz UNISOC T618 octa-core processor w/ Mali-G52 MP2 GPU, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage, while the battery is similar at 4,500mAh + USB-C 22.5W fast charger.

Triple camera system!

For cameras, it has 50MP f/1.8 w/ PDAF + 5MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP depth shooter. While the selfie sensor uses 8MP.

Others, both have side-mounted fingerprint readers, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and dual-SIM (nano) support.

For software, the two run Android 12 w/ MyOS 12 skin out of the box.
