vivo Philippines today announced that the 4GB/64GB variant of the Y16 has received a PHP 1K price cut.

So, from PHP 7,999, the vivo Y16 is now more affordable than ever and now retails at just PHP 6,999.

For its new price tag, the vivo Y16 offers a stylish back cover design in either Deizzling Gold or Stellar Black colorways.

In terms of specs, the device brings a 6.51-inch LCD screen with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution, 12nm Helio P35 chip, PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM, 1GB Extended RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and a large 5,000mAh battery capacity.

For cameras, the device is equipped with a 13MP f/2.2 main shooter paired with a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. It also has an LED flash for low light shots. In front, you get a 5MP f/2.2 snapper.

To keep its back design clean, vivo also added a side-mounted fingerprint scanner instead of a rear fingerprint reader.
