The machine appeared with close resemblance to its MateBook lineup unibody metal however this time, instead of symmetrical edges, the Qinyun G540 has a boxy flat edge if you take a look at it closely.
HUAWEI touts this laptop will be drop-resistant including bumps and this also comes with a moisture-resistant keyboard.
There's also a 180-degree hinge feature which will allow its users to open the laptop on a flat surface.
Its display is a 14-inch IPS panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio and comes with a 60Hz refresh rate, 1920 x 1080 resolution, and 300 nits max brightness.
Inside, it is equipped with choices of 12th-Gen Intel CPUs such as the Core i5-1235U, Core i5-1240P, and Core i7-1260P. All of these come with Intel Iris Xe iGPU. However, the storage configurations aren't specified yet.
For battery, it comes with two choices—42WHr or 56WHr but charging speeds are undisclosed for now.
Another feature noted is the privacy protection for the webcam which you may access through a physical button next to the camera.
Those are the confirmed features for now. While the price is still unknown, we will see more information this coming March 2023 at HUAWEI's Spring Flagship Products launch event.
