OPPO Find N2 Flip cover screen now supports Spotify and Speech-to-Text quick reply widgets!
OPPO has begun rolling out the over-the-air update for the OPPO N2 Flip flagship foldable which adds functional new features.

More useful widgets for the Cover Screen!
OPPO originally announced the arrival of the Over-the-Air update that added new functionality to its cover screen on April 17, 2023. Now the update has rolled out for our OPPO N2 Flip review unit.
OPPO and Spotify have jointly developed the new widget for the Find N2 Flip's cover screen. It allows users full playback control and access to the Heart button and to content recommendations without unfolding the device.
The Chinese brand has also added a custom-built Speech-to-Text quick reply feature when receiving a text message through the cover screen that will drop soon. All apps that enable quick replies will support this feature including WhatsApp, Messenger, Messages by Google, Telegram, and LINE.

This could be one of the more significant updates for the OPPO N2 Flip since its launch as it shows OPPO's commitment to create the best folding phone experience with both hardware and software.
This update also leaves the question of whether or not OPPO could co-develop a widget with other apps like the dialer, payment solutions, and other social media apps.
The OPPO N2 Flip was announced in the Philippines in March 2023. It has a starting price of PHP 49,990. On the inner side of the phone is the 6.8-inch UTG-protected Flexible LTPO AMOLED screen with a 2520 x 1080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. While on the outer side of the phone is the 3.26-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 720 x 382 resolution.
Inside the flagship foldable are the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ octa-core processor, Mali-G710 MC10 GPU, 8GBLPPDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,300mAh battery with a 44W SUPERVOOC charging thru USB-C.
On the folding screen's punch hole is the 32MP f/2.4 selfie camera while at the back are the 50MP f/1.8 primary camera, and 8MP f/2.2 112-degree ultra-wide angle camera with an LED flash.
Other features include WiFi 6, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.3, OTG, NFC, GPS, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and dual nano SIM with e-SIM support.
The phone has been available for purchase in the Philippines thru OPPO stores and authorized distributors nationwide. Interested parties can also get the phone thru Smart Postpaid via Plan 1499.
