OPPO disrupts PH foldable flip phone market with Find N2 Flip, priced under PHP 50K!

On schedule, China-based mobile tech giant OPPO launched the Find N2 Flip in the Philippines.

Priced at just PHP 49,990, the OPPO Find N2 Flip undercuts the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 (Starts at PHP 58,990 128GB) as it aims to be the new top pick for those who are looking to purchase a new foldable flip smartphone in the country.

In comparison, it uses a bigger display with less crease when unfolded and minimal gap when folded, a larger and more useful cover screen, larger memory configuration, longer battery life with faster charging, and a higher-end main camera sensor, among others at a more affordable price tag.

To recap, the new OPPO Find N2 Flip is boasting a large 6.8-inch main folding Samsung E6 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits peak brightness. The cover screen, it uses a 3.26-inch panel. The cover screen could be used to view notifications, messages, and as a display for the back cameras allowing its users to take high-quality selfies.

OPPO also claims that the device will stay tough even after 400,000 folding tests and the crease is far less pronounced than the competition (<0.15mm) due to its use of a new generation waterdrop hinge design.

Inside, the device is using the 4nm 3.2GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ with Mali-G710 MC10 GPU, 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, and a 4,300mAh battery with USB-C 44W wired charging. This is as fast or a bit faster than the Galaxy Z Flip4.

For cameras, the handset is using the Hasselblad-tuned 50MP IMX890 main cam and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter as well as a 32MP RGBW IMX709 snapper for selfies.

Completing the specs, it has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, Dolby Audio, dual-band WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, and dual SIM slots. 

The handset is available in Astral Black and Moonlit Purple colorways and runs with Android 13 with ColorOS 13 skin.

OPPO claims that it can get up to 4 years of major OS updates and 5 years of security updates as well.

The 8GB/256GB version of the device is now official in the Philippines for PHP 49,999.

At Globe Postpaid, it will be available at Plan 1499 (PHP 28,800 cash out) and Plan 999 (PHP 33,600 cash out). It will come with a FREE EncoAir worth PHP 3,999 and Band 2 worth PHP 3,999.

At Smart Postpaid, it is available via Plan 1499 with unspecified cash out with a FREE EncoAir worth PHP 3,999 and Band 2 worth PHP 3,999.

At Lazada, it will come with a FREE OPPO Watch Free worth PHP 5,499 and Enco Air3 worth PHP 3,999. There is also a 10 percent cashback (capped at PHP 1K).
