Nothing's second generation of TWS officially been unveiled globally bringing upgrades as expected.

Nothing ear (2) is now official!

The new earbuds came in an identical design to the 1st gen with its iconic transparent design in both the case and the units.

It has an improved sound!

The main spotlight lies with the addition of the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, making the Ear (2) capable of streaming Hi-Res sound. The earphones also include a new personalized sound profile function that allows users to adapt the earbuds to their particular hearing after completing a brief test in the Nothing X companion app. The app allows users to fine-tune the equalizer settings to their satisfaction.

Nothing promised an improved ANC this time, claiming it can block background noise up to 40dB. Meanwhile, it also features Adaptive ANC that can eliminate unwanted noises based on the user's ear profile and environment.

Inside, it is equipped with 11.6mm drivers with a new diaphragm made with graphene and polyurethane materials, resulting in better sound output as per Nothing's claims.

The brand also said that they reworked the voice pickup feature, coming with wind noise reduction and offering clearer calls in noisy areas.

For battery, it has up to 36 hours of juice based on the brand's website. While it can be charged using USB-C or a wireless charging pad with 2.5W speeds.

Google Quick Pair for Android devices and Microsoft Swift Pair for Windows users are supported by Nothing ear (2) as well. The case is rated IP55 for dust and water splashes, while the earphone units are rated IP54.
