Strong 2026 1st half for Globe

Globe Business reported double-digit growth in Corporate Data revenue for the first half of 2026, as enterprises increased spending on connectivity, information and communication technology (ICT), and digital solutions. 

Corporate Data revenue reached PHP 11 billion in the first six months of the year, up 15% year-on-year—the first time since 2023 that first-half Corporate Data revenue growth has reached double digits, according to the company.

Second-quarter Corporate Data revenue also reached PHP 5.9 billion, a record for the quarter. The company attributed the growth to higher Core Data revenue, led by domestic internet services, along with continued growth in ICT, particularly Business Application Solutions.

Businesses are increasingly treating digital transformation as fundamental to how they operate, serve their customers, and prepare for future growth. The sustained demand we are seeing reflects the importance enterprises place on reliable connectivity and technology that can help them become more efficient, resilient and competitive, Globe Chief Commercial Officer Darius Delgado said.

Globe Business said it is expanding its capabilities in connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, business applications, and AI-enabled solutions as enterprise requirements become more complex.

The company reported PHP 26.3 billion in capital expenditures in the first half of 2026, with about 91% allocated to data-related initiatives aimed at expanding network capacity and improving service quality.

Globe Business held its G Summit 2026 event under the theme "Orchestrating Intelligence," which focused on integrating connectivity, AI, cybersecurity, and automation rather than treating them as separate offerings.

The company said it plans to continue adjusting its enterprise offerings as customer requirements and available technologies change.
