Village Pipol Magazine turns 19 with a night of high-fashion Halloween glam

The milestone anniversary doubles as a costume party, a print issue launch, and a gathering of the Filipino creative community.

Nineteen years, one glamorous night

Nineteen years in, our friends from Village Pipol Magazine aren't slowing down, and this October, they're throwing a party dark and glamorous enough to prove it.

On October 17, the magazine marks its 19th anniversary with "High Fashion Halloween Glam," an evening of fashion, fantasy, and fright at The Boiler Room at Riverbanks Center in Marikina City. For a publication that has spent nearly two decades chronicling the Filipino lifestyle and entertainment scene, the celebration is framed as both a look back and a look forward, told this time through sequins, statement costumes, and a touch of the macabre.

Guests are invited to leave the ordinary at the door. The night's theme pushes attendees toward their most daring, glamorous, and imaginative looks, turning Halloween into as much a fashion statement as a costume party. Live music and drag performances round out the entertainment, drawing together artists, celebrities, creatives, and industry personalities alongside longtime friends of the magazine.

A few partners are along for the ride to round out the night's experience. Proshot Concept Studio steps in as the event's official Glambooth partner, giving guests a way to capture their transformations and anniversary-night looks. 8 Hospitality Events Group handles catering, keeping the crowd fueled through the evening, while Rising Designs PH takes on red carpet duties as the event's official Red Carpet Experience Partner.

Beyond the costumes and cameras, the night carries real institutional weight: the celebration also marks Village Pipol's annual print release, giving guests an exclusive first look at the magazine's latest issue.
