POCO F5 is confirmed to have an SD7+G2 chip!
The said phone comes with a model number 23049PCD8G that has a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 and 12GB RAM.
Meanwhile, Snapdragon India twitted that it is indeed the POCO F5 and it is going to be the first handset to feature the SD7+ Gen 2 SoC. Based on the chipmaker's claims, this processor will bring 50 percent better overall performance, 13 percent in terms of efficiency, and twice improved AI performance versus the predecessor SD7G1.

Apparently, the POCO F5 appears to have suspiciously identical hardware to the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, exclusive to China. It won't be surprising if the two devices turn out to be similar.
That means we could expect the possibility of the F5 smartphone to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging and Android 13 with MIUI 14 skin overlay. Additionally, it should have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and 64MP primary shooter.
