Ahead of its official local launch, several retailers online have leaked the possible Philippine suggested price tag of the realme C55.
In particular, local retailers Audionet and Memoxpress shared on Lazada that the 6GB/128GB version of the device retails at PHP 8,999 while the beefier 8GB/256GB model is priced at PHP 10,999.
These prices are not official yet as the LazMall page of realme Philippines has yet to reveal its SRP. But traditionally, there is a good chance that what Memoxpress leaked are the actual prices for both variants of the C55 in the Philippines.
Anyway, to those who missed our previous report, the realme C55 is the company's newest budget smartphone.
The main highlight of the device is its use of an Apple Dynamic island-like feature called the "Mini Capsule" which makes its punch-hole more functional. It shows important information such as charging status, low battery warning, data usage, or health metrics around the display's top-center hole for the 8MP selfie camera.
For the rest of the specs, the handset arrived in Rainy Night or Sun Shower colorway, 6.72-inch LCD (IPS) screen with FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 680 nits peak brightness.
The device is powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core processor, ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB/256GB eMMC 5.1 storage, microSD card expansion, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
It also has a 64MP main shooter + 2MP depth sensor + and an LED flash at the back, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack slot, WiFi 802.11ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM slots.
The phone measures 165.6 x 75.9 x 7.89 mm and weighs 189.5 grams.
