vivo X Flip teased with wide outer display and ZEISS cameras!

vivo teases its own version of the clamshell flip phone which they intend to launch this April apart from the X Fold 2.

The brand says it will feature Diamond Purple, Diamond Black, and Silk Gold colorways. While the images showed that it boasts a larger outer screen with a horizontal layout. According to vivo, they're doing this as "humans tend to read more often from left to right".

You will also notice below the screen is the circular camera module with ZEISS branding. Just like its X series devices, it will feature the ZEISS Optics with T* Coating with creative enhancement developed by two companies. It is going to have a 50MP main unit with OS while the selfie shooter will be 32MP.

vivo also confirmed that the phone will use a 4n 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 5G octa-core chipset and TUV Rheinland certification for up to 500K time of folding.

As of now, it is not clear when it will come to the Philippines. Based on history, the phone maker never brought their foldable into the country. 

Although were hoping for them to finally bring more competition with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and the OPPO Find N2 Flip.

For now, let's all wait and see its full details this April.
