ShopBack shares its plans for the year 2023!
Last 2022, ShopBack said they gained PHP 1 billion in GMV per month and users across the platform with members withdrawing USD 10M in cashback each month. This company has also worked with over 600 retailers around the country to ensure that it is well-equipped to serve the Philippines' 5.5 million ShopBack consumers.
The Commercial Director, Timothy Tuason when asked about how ShopBack can improve its services to a wide range of consumers, he shed light on the situation.
We look at the data and we also see what is the basket size per user. By observing this, we can then now retarget specific deals, and specific campaigns, because there are certain brands that may not relate the same things to a different type of basket size. So, we make sure we retarget specific campaigns to people we know that have this amount of spending power, said Tuason.
Understanding these types of behaviors and making sure we shoot out is what really matters to us. It’s all about providing the opportunity to the users to be able to make their shopping experience better, he added.
ShopBack also highlighted its most recent ventures, including the upcoming launch of ShopBack Travel Club in May. Other projects pointed out were the ShopBack Travel and Lifestyle Fair and the ShopBack 8th birthday celebration, which would take place from June 21 to June 28.

The newest additions to the brand's growing in-app features will bring users who are in search of a smart and rewarding method to book getaways.
Tuason pointed out that travel is one of the top categories that their consumers look forward to in terms of getting the best value. With the expected launch of its newest projects, ShopBack boldly says that its success will only increase in the next few years.
