vivo X Fold2 and X Flip launched with Snapdragon 8 series chips and 50MP ZEISS cameras!

vivo launched two high-end foldable smartphones under the X Series.

vivo X Fold2 and X Flip

vivo introduces two foldable phones!

Starting with the X Fold2, the phone features an 8.03-inch 2K internal screen and a 6.53-inch Full HD E6 AMOLED screen both having a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1600 or 1800 nits of peak brightness, respectively.

The outer panel has a SCHOTT UTG glass cover while both panels have a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader.

The features

Inside, it is equipped with a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with New Adreno GPU, 12GB RAM, and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

For battery, it has a 4,800mAh size that charges using USB-C and 120W fast charging brick, 50W wireless, and reverse wireless.

On the camera department, the phone has 50MP f/1.75 Sony IMX866 primary shooter, Zeiss T* coating, V2 chip + 12MP Sony IMX663 108-degree ultrawide snapper, and a 12MP f/1.98 telephoto shooter. While the selfie has 16MP with an f/2.45 aperture.

The X Flip smartphone

Moving forward, the next smartphone unveiled is the vivo X Flip which uses a clamshell design.

It has a 6.74-inch 120Hz AMOLED internal screen with UTG glass invisible crease and a 3-inch wide external screen with mirror application opening features which permits users to open several apps on the external screen without opening the inner display.

vivo also says you can use it like at an actual makeup box as the upper half of the screen is as clear as a mirror while the lower half has a number of makeup functions.

The X Flip's features

Inside, the phone uses the 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core chip, 12GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, 4,400mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

For cameras, it has 50MP f/1.75 with OIS, Zeiss T* coating + 12MP 106-degree ultrawide sensor + LED flash. While the front has a 32MP selfie shooter.

Other features mentioned are the side-mounted fingerprint reader and stereo speakers.

For connectivity, both have 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC.

They are now available for pre-order in China but the sale begins on April 28. vivo has to announce yet if it will come to the PH market.
