After HTC's initial teasers for a new U-series smartphone, several live photos of the alleged U23 Pro 5G with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 have surfaced online.
Aside from the initial teasers, recent GeekBench listings have revealed that the U23 Pro 5G will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor, 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB of storage and Android 13 as its OS.
The leaked photos from PTT came with three model numbers named: 2QC9200, 2QC9100, and 2QCB100. Other alleged specs of the yet-to-be-announced device include a quad-rear camera with a 108MP primary camera with OIS, a 4,600mAh battery with wireless charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
PTT's post also mentioned that the device's rear cover and middle frame are made from plastic. The power button will double as the fingerprint scanner and will have volume buttons.
The design is reminiscent of most modern mid-range Android phones.
HTC is expected to introduce the phone later this month in Taiwan and to other select countries.
There is no information about pricing too. Take the above information with a grain of salt until HTC makes an official announcement.
