Epson leads ASEAN's large format printing market in 2022

Computer printer manufacturer Epson continues to dominate the ASEAN market as it clinched the top spot in the large format printing market for 2022, the global market intelligence provider International Data Corporation (IDC) said.

Epson remains undefeated

For the fourth quarter alone, IDC said Epson grabbed significant market shares in the following categories: large format printers (10 percent), textile large format printers (43 percent), and large format graphic printers (19 percent).

Tomohito Morikawa, regional director of Commercial and Industrial Products, Epson Southeast Asia, attributed this recognition to the group’s continuous innovation.

It also features Epson’s Integrated Ink Pack system, which boasts a 45 percent increase in ink capacity as compared to its predecessors 1.

The SureColor SC-V7000 UV Flatbed Signage Printer is Epson’s first UV flatbed large format printer, ensuring top-notch quality and color-consistent prints on a wide range of materials including wood, metal, and glass, empowering users with a wider range of application options. In line with Epson’s focus on sustainability, the SC-V7000 also uses GreenGuard Gold-certified UV inks, meeting recognized international standards for emissions.
