Lots of curves and powerful specs!
The new HONOR phones unveiled in China feature a slim and lightweight design with smooth and rounded edges that are made of reinforced glass. The design is said to be inspired by haute couture and craftsmanship seen in luxury jewelry.
The vanilla HONOR 90 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved OLED screen with a 2664 x 1200 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1,600 nits peak brightness, and a 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Inside is the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor with Adreno 644 GPU, a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging via USB-C.
While the HONOR 90 Pro features a 6.78-inch FHD+ quad-curved OLED screen with a 2700 x 1224 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1,600nits peak brightness, and a 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Inside is the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor with the Adreno 730 GPU, a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging via USB-C.
Both phones feature 12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB of internal storage, dual nanoSIM support, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers.
At the back of both phones is the 200MP f/1.9 primary camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, and 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, with an LED flash. The HONOR 90 Pro comes with a 32MP f/2.4 2.5x telephoto camera with OIS and 50x hybrid zoom while the vanilla HONOR 90 gets a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.
While in front is the 50MP f/2.4 main selfie camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.
Both phones support WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM slots.
The two are powered by MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13.
The HONOR 90 measures 161.9 x 74.1 x 7.8 mm and weighs 183 grams while the HONOR 90 Pro measures 163.8 x 74.8 x 8.1 mm and weighs 192 grams.

Both variants will be available for purchase in China this June 7, 2023. FoneArena claims that Google Mobile Services recently confirmed that both phones will be available globally soon.
There is no word yet on Philippine availability and pricing.
