HTC unveiled the new U23 Pro with a built-in VIVERSE platform, a 120Hz OLED display, a 108MP rear main camera and a 32MP selfie camera.
In early May 2023, alleged photos of a new HTC smartphone have been spotted online. Several weeks later, the Taiwanese brand officially unveiled the new smartphone.
It features a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus-protected 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 2400 x 1080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Inside is the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor, Adreno 644 GPU, 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB of internal storage, microSD card expansion, and 4,600mAh battery with 30W fast wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
At the back of the phone are the 108MP f/1.7 main camera with OIS, an 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera with an LED flash. While on the punch hole in the front is the 32MP f/2.45 selfie camera.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, IP67 dust and water resistance, 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS.
The phone weighs 205 grams and measures 166.6 x 77.09 x 8.88mm. Lastly, it will come in either Muxer White or Coffee Black.

The phone is now available for purchase in Taiwan. Customers who purchase the phone before May 30, 2023, will get a free HTC Ture Wireless Bluetooth Headset II.
There is no word yet on availability and pricing outside of Taiwan.
