System integration in govt

According to a report by CNN Philippines, the Department of Information and Communications Technology has said that more than 200 LGUs are already on board the eGOV PH Super app.

Mayroon na tayong 200 mahigit na LGU na na-integrate doon sa super app, at tuloy-tuloy kaming nag i-implement and nag i-integrate ngayon sa iba pang mga LGUs, DICT Undersecretary David Almirol Jr. said.

The app, which was launched this month, is a one-stop-shop platform where users can access multiple government services. This wants to streamline processes and transactions to push for ease of doing business with at least 26 national government agencies.

User's can also access their digitalized government-issued IDs on the platform, including the national ID and driver’s license. Outbound and inbound travel declaration forms are also available on the app.

Almirol noted there are more than 400 other LGUs who have said they also want to be integrated into the app.

On ensuring the app’s security, Almirol said that it is the government agencies' responsibility and not the DICT.

What do you think about this?
