The South Korean tech firm reveals new design cases for the Galaxy Buds Series featuring popular Pokemon characters.
A year ago we saw a Pokeball-type edition of the Buds2. But this time, the design appeared in cute shapes of either Jigglypuff, Snorlax, or Ditto available for both the Buds2 and Buds2 Pro variants.
To recap, the regular Buds2 features a 2-way woofer and tweeters with ANC tech, 3 microphones, 4-5 hours of use per bud, and up to 17 hours with a case with a wireless charging feature apart from USB-C. It connects via Bluetooth 5.2 with support for AAC and SBC codecs and comes with IPX2 water splash resistance.
On the other hand, the Buds 2 Pro is the more advanced version with its new custom coaxial 2-way drivers and tweeters which produces "24-bit Hi-Fi Studio-quality" sound based on Samsung's claims
It also has ANC up to 33db, 360-degree audio with Direct Multi-Channel and HD Voice, IPX7 water resistance, 5-8 hours of usage, and up to 18-29 hours with the case.
Galaxy Buds2 - KRW 130,000 (around PHP 5.5K)
Galaxy Buds2 Pro - KRW 200,000 (around PHP 8.4K)
They are currently available in Gmarket Korean online store. No word yet if there will be a PH release for now so stay tuned.
