Unihertz Jelly Star launched!

Last MWC 2023, they made a look-alike of Nothing Phone (1) called the Unihertz Luna with a transparent design. This time though, it is still transparent but way smaller, and guess what it has LED lights too at the back.

Somehow it reminds us of the compact era like the iconic iPhone 3G and the Samsung Corby which was more than a decade ago.

The features

Anyways, the phone features a 3-inch LCD (IPS) screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 at 323 ppi and a 60Hz refresh rate.

Inside, it has the 6nm 2.2GHz MTK Helio G99 8-core chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 8GB RAM and a huge 256GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage.

For battery, it has a 2,000mAh capacity which is big for its size as 3-inch phones used to have 1000mAh to 1500mAh back then. Fortunately, it can be charged using a 10W power brick.

In terms of camera, it uses a single 48MP with autofocus and an 8MP shooter as well.

Other features noted are a fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a loudspeaker at the bottom.

Connectivity-wise, it has 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual-SIM nano support.

For software, the phone runs Android 13 OS out of the box.

US price with direct-to-PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Super early bird price - USD 170 (around PHP 9.5K)
Projected retail price - USD 214 (around 11.9K)

It is now available for pre-order at Kickstart or you may head to the website for further information. Unihertz aims to start shipping it to supporters by October 2023.
