HONOR announces two devices, a smartphone called the Play 40 and a tablet called the X8 Pro.
Starting with the HONOR Play 40, it comes with a modern stylish design, a 6.56-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 1612 x 720 HD+ resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Inside, it is powered by the 6nm Snapdragon 480+ with Adreno 619 GPU, 6 or 8GB RAM + 5G virtual RAM, and 128GB or 256GB storage options.
When it comes to the battery, the Play 40 is equipped with a 5,200mAh size but charges with USB-C and 10W charger only.
For cameras, it has a 13MP primary sensor + 2MP depth helper. While on the selfie side, it has a 5MP camera.
Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and dual SIM.
Moving forward, HONOR also announced the Pad X8 Pro tablet. It comes with a large 11.5-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 2000 x 1200 resolution, 100 percent sRGB, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 400 nits max brightness.
Inside, it comes with a 6nm Snapdragon 685 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It is paired with 4/6/8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
For battery, it has a large 7,250mAh capacity and charges using a 10W charger as well.
For cameras, it has 5MP for both rear and selfies.
Another feature noted is the six speakers for an immersive listening experience.
On the connectivity side, it has WiFi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0. The Chinese HONOR website does not clearly state if it has data connectivity though.
For OS, both the tablet and smartphone run Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1 skin on top.

The devices are now available in China. However, it is still unclear whether they will be sold outside China. We will update you once there's news about it.
