HONOR introduces a new smartphone under the Play series lineup. However, this one is geared toward budget consumers.
The device features a simplistic approach to the design but with color changing hue on the rear cover.
At the front, it has a 6.56-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 1612 x 720 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 70 percent NTSC color gamut.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.2GHz 8nm Snapdragon 480+ octa-core processor with Adreno 619 GPU.
The chip is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and has a 5,200mAh battery that charges with a USB-C and 10W power brick.
For cameras, it has a 13MP single rear camera setup and a 5MP selfie shooter.
Other features noted are the side-fingerprint reader and 3.5mm audio jack.
Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and dual SIM support.
For OS, the phone runs Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1 skin on top.

The device is now available in China. However, it is unknown yet if it will come to the Philippines.
