HUAWEI MatePad Air launched in PH: 144Hz FullView screen, Snapdragon 888, 44W charging

HUAWEI introduces the latest tablet called the MatePad Air with an 11.5-inch 144Hz TFT LCD screen, Snapdragon 888, and an 8,300mAh battery.

Pro-level tablet?

In front of the new productivity tablet is the 11.5-inch TFT LCD screen with a 2800 x 1840 resolution, a 30-144Hz variable refresh rate, and an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor, Adreno 660 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB of storage, and an 8,300mAh battery with a 40W SuperCharge fast wired charging.

At the back is the 13MP f/1.8 main camera while in front is the 8MP f/2.2 front-facing camera.

Running the show is HarmonyOS 3.1. It is compatible with the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard and the M-Pencil.

HUAWEI's next powerhouse tablet?

It connects wirelessly thru 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.2. It supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, GALILEO, and QZSS.

It has 4 microphones and 4 speakers around the tablet.

The body measures 178.17 x 261.89 x 6.4mm and weighs 508 grams. 

Lastly, it will come in either Graphite Black or White colorways.

We expect the price to be under PHP 40,000. We will have to wait until the full announcement.
