vivo Y27 launched: Helio G85, 50MP main camera and 5,000mAh battery!

vivo announced a 5G edition this early July, and now a 4G edition comes up with an entry-level MTK chip.

The new Y Series device comes in a refreshing look, with two circular camera islands with golden patterns at the side.

At the front, the phone comes with a 6.64-inch LCD (IPS) screen with Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch bearing the 8MP selfie camera.

Inside, it has the 2.0GHz 12nm Helio G85 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 6GB RAM + 6GB virtual RAM, and 128GB storage.

For battery, the phone has 5,000mAh that charges using USB-C and 44W FlashCharge.

On the rear cameras, it has a 50MP primary shooter joined with a 2MP portrait helper.

Another feature mentioned is the side-fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone.

Connecitivity-wise, it has 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM (nano) support.

For OS, it has Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 out of the box.

The device is now available in Malaysia and India. Although we're still unsure if vivo will bring this here.
