vivo's newest entry-level "gaming" smartphone is coming to the Philippines
The new vivo Y27 is said to be an entry-level "gaming" smartphone after releasing two Y Series models in July.

Despite being slim and lightweight, the device boasts a scratch-resistant back cover with a dual ring design and crystalline matte finish. It is available in Sea Blue and Burgandy Black colorways and even comes with an IP54 rating for pollution, hazy weather, and splashes. vivo said that it also underwent a series of tests to ensure it can survive extreme weather conditions.
The device also features a 6.64-inch LCD (IPS) screen with an FHD+ resolution and 600 nits peak brightness as well as the 2.0GHz 12nm Helio G85 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
It is paired with 6GB RAM, up to 6GB Extended RAM 3.0 tech, an Interface Preserver for seamless running and switching of apps, 128GB internal storage with 1TB microSD expansion slot, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity for more than 5 hours of non-stop mobile gaming.
The other highlight of the device is it features a USB-C 44W fast charging capability that can charge the device to 29 percent in just 15 minutes.
For cameras, it goes with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. vivo claims that this image sensor can capture sharp details even at night.
For selfies, it has an 8MP shooter with a cinematic ratio when shooting videos. It also has AI Face Beauty and Bokeh Flare Portrait tech.
The rest of the missing details will be revealed along with its official PH price tag soon. In particular, vivo said that it will be released in two weeks.
