Apple to soon remove Maya as payment mode, but can be accessed in the "cards" tab

Apple recently announced to its users that Maya will soon be removed as one of its modes of payment.

In its announcement, Apple said that starting August 16, Apple users can no longer use Maya as a mode of payment for digital purchases in the App Store or iTunes Store.

Users who are using Maya were advised to add another payment method to avoid interruptions in their subscriptions.

In a statement sent to YugaTech, Maya said its virtual or physical card can still be connected to be used as a payment mode.

The virtual Maya app can be accessed through the "cards" tab in the Maya app.

Aside from Maya, Apple users can opt to use GCash, ShopeePay, credit cards, or debit cards to pay for their subscriptions.
