Globe retains "Most Reliable Network" in PH award for 5th straight time

Local telco giant Globe today revealed that it has retained its acclaim as the "Most Reliable Mobile Network" in the Philippines by Ookla five times in a row.

The most reliable in PH for the 5th straight year

The award is based on the Ookla Speedtest Intelligence data analysis showing that Globe won in Q2 2022, Q3 2022, Q4 2022, Q1 2023, and Q1-Q2 2023.

Globe's Consistency Score in Q1-Q2 2023 is the highest in the country at 83.64 percent. It is also the most available all-technology mobile network at 92.63 percent.

In Q2 2022, Globe achieved a Consistency score of 79.44 percent with all-technology mobile network of 93.11 percent when it first achieve the award. The company followed it with a Consistency Score of 82.55 percent and an Availability score of 92.03 percent the following year and improved its Consistency Score of 83.13 percent with an Availability score of 92.38 percent in Q4 2022.

Other major telco competitors of Globe in the Mobile network space are Smart and DITO.

To recap, reliability is earned by the mobile operator who achieves the highest scores in two key metrics: All Technology Consistency and All Technology Availability.
