iOS 17 and iPad OS 17 start rolling out!

The iPhone Xs and iPhone XR models released back in 2018 are now the entry point for iOS 17. This year's big absences include the iPhone X and iPhone 8 series, which are no longer supported by iOS 16.

Unfortunately, the iPhone X from 2017 won't be updated anymore.

Some of the highlights for iOS 17 the Face time which lets users leave audio and video messages in the app, and the call version gets video reactions. The Journal app lets users have personalized suggestions, the keyboard gets AI-enhanced Autocorrect, the Check-in feature lets your friend or family where you are, and Apple Maps gets offline support.

Meanwhile, iPadOS 17 is also now available. This includes the iPad Pro (2nd generation and later), iPad Air (3rd Gen or later), iPad 6th gen or later, and iPad Mini (5th gen or later).

Apple also released the WatchOS 10 for Watch Series 4 and newer TVOS 17 for Apple TV HD and up.
