The most notable change would be the 1-inch sensor 9MP CMOS. A big difference from the 1/1.7-inch sensor of the Pocket 2. This will result in better picture/video quality, particularly in low light and when shooting in slow-mo video.

The Pocket 3 also now supports 120 fps and 4K resolution making it ideal for fast-paced action shooting.

Its gimbal technology is also improved called the 3-axis gimbal stabilized camera head. There's also the automatic axis lock to maintain the camera's gimbal in storage position.

This also features a bigger rotating display at 2 inches with a resolution of 556 x 313 and a max brightness of 700 nits.

Meanwhile, the camera can also shoot Full HD resolution up to 240 fps for slow motion. There's also a low-light video mode, which based on DJI's statements can bring cleaner videos in low light but is limited to 30 fps only.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 also features a lightweight body at 179 grams and has dimensions of 139.7 x 42.2 x 33.5mm so users can easily carry it around on their expeditions.

For audio recording, the device comes with 3x microphones with wind-noise reduction and omnidirectional stereo sound. It is also compatible with the DHI Mic 2 wireless transmitter.

Regarding battery, DJI claims this can last up to 116 minutes of 4K 60 fps with its 1,300mAh capacity. It supports fast charging at 80 percent battery within 16 minutes of charging and will go to 100 percent within 32 minutes.

It has some smart features and creative modes. For example, it has ActiveTrack 6.0 with several following modes. Meanwhile, the Pocket 3 can also work directly as an HD webcam or livestream through a smartphone connection. The built-in timecode function can aid users in seamless synch in post-production.

Other modes mentioned are the Spinshot for 180-degree smooth camera movements when using one hand, Motionlapse for timelapse video when moving around, Digital Zoom up to 4x, and Panorama for capturing multiple images and bringing them together for a bigger photo.

This also supports the DJI's iconic LightCut application so users can edit and generate 4K videos from selected footage. There are also templates of different choices and users don't need to download the full-size files to the smartphone to edit their clips.

For now, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is only available in the US and Europe.

Update: In the Philippines, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is priced at PHP 29,990. The Creator combo is priced at PHP 39,990.
