HUAWEI Watch Ultimate Design launched in PH: 18K gold, 10 ATM water resistance, PHP 159,999 price tag!

Besides the GT 4 and FreeBuds Pro 3, premium mobile device maker HUAWEI has launched its most luxurious wearable in the Philippines yet—the Watch Ultimate Design.

According to HUAWEI, the Watch Ultimate Design is a smart decorative timepiece for collectors and even horologists.

It features a stunning-looking rudder-like black nanocrystal ceramic bezel and six (6) 18K gold inlays. The six segments of the 18K fold are inlaid at the edge of the bezel. It also has ornate character engravings forged by Physical Vapor Deposition technology to add a finishing touch to the timepiece.

Even the crown is made of gold. It uses 3D trapezoidal patterns carved with diamond tools and embedded with gold for a glamorous look and glossy feel.

It also has a gold and black Triple-Mesh Chain Strap and an Adjustable Butterfly Buckle with 12 levels of adjustment at 1.4mm per level and 17.4mm of adjustments.

The whole watch has 10 ATM water resistance that has 100-meter water resistance during dives.

The display has a Sapphire Glass-protected 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED rounded color screen with 466 x 466 resolution. 

HUAWEI claims that this has gone through 24 processing techniques making it 7x sturdier and corrosion resistant than the already very impressive regular Watch Ultimate.

All of that is placed on the amorphous zirconium front case and the ceramic back case. This combination of materials has gone through 24 processing techniques which makes it up to 7 times sturdier and corrosion resistant than the standard Watch Ultimate.

The device also has plenty of watch faces to choose from and an ECG Analysis obtained from the class II medical device registration from the Food and Drug Administration. Users need only to touch the function button electrode on the lower side of the watch and it will collect an ECG signal. It will then use HUAWEI's ECG analysis software to generate an ECG report that indicates the adult sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation, and premature atrial or ventricular contractions.

Of course, it is complete with health and tracking features, comprehensive sleep tracking, vascular health monitoring, stress management, and SpO2 level monitoring.

Moreover, it has included Bluetooth calling and two-way Beidou-supported satellite messaging, among others.

HUAWEI claims that it has a 14-day maximum battery life, 8-day regular battery life, and 4-day battery life with Always On Display enabled.
