Infinix SMART 8 listed on Google Play Console: Unisoc T606 SoC, 3GB RAM, Android 13

MySmartPrice reports that the unannounced Infinix SMART 8 with Unisoc T606 and 3GB RAM was recently listed on Google Play Console.

Successor to the Infinix SMART 7?

The Google Play Console listing carried an image depicting the front of the device. From the image, it can be seen that the phone will have slim top and side bezels but will have a thicker chin bezel. It will also have a punch hole that carries the front-facing camera.

This new model is expected to succeed the SMART 7 announced back in February. The current SMART 7 had key features including an octa-core processor, 3GB+7GB RAM, a 13MP dual-rear camera, a 6.6-inch screen and a Wave Pattern antibacterial back.

The listing also revealed that the smartphone will run on Android 13 out of the box and will come with a Unisoc T606 octa-core processor, ARM Mali G57 GPU, and a screen resolution of 1612 x 720p.

Not much else is known about the device so far. However, MySmartPrice says that the leaks have led them to believe that the smartphone will come with a 6,000mAh battery, 10W fast charging, 4G LTE support and will measure 164 x 76 x 9mm. It will allegedly come with a 13MP main rear camera, an AI lens, a 5MP front-facing selfie camera, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Take this information with a grain of salt until Infinix's official announcement.
