Last July Smart launched the prepaid eSIM in the country and has now started the rollout of its prepaid and postpaid versions.

This is part of Smart's goal of setting the pace for eSIM adoption in the Philippines making both prepaid and postpaid eSIM offers conveniently available through digital deliveries.

This means that mobile users may now simply order their Smart Prepaid or Post eSIMs at the Smart Online store and have it conveniently delivered to their email immediately.

Upon receiving the email, users simply need to scan their unique QR code and then register it after activation begin using the data, call, and text services of Smart.

Interested consumers can easily access the Smart Online Store on any web browser or mobile. The telco explains you don't need to download or log in to a separate app just to order the eSIM. Meanwhile, they are accepting a vast number of payment methods such as Maya, GCash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, JCB, SPay, and DragonPay.

With the introduction of eSIM, PLDT Incorporated says they are able to provide a quick and seamless way to avail their eSIMS anywhere the customer is.

On the other hand, Smart will continue to cater services to customers who prefer their eSIM on printed cards by making it accessible to strategic locations like international or local airports, Smart Stores, Smart flagship stores on Lazada and Shopee, and accredited retailers. Moreover, postpaid users may also sign up to get their own eSIMS personally at Smart Stores nationwide.
