Unboxing/Accessories
 |
| The box |
OPPO always keeps it minimalist yet elegant when it comes to their packaging. This one is no different from that, as the box came with a shiny silver color paired with an aurora effect next to the 15 logo. You could spot the Reno 15 F 5G marking at the top, as well as the OPPO AI Phone.
 |
| Inside the box |
Upon opening the box, you'll see the Reno 15F 5G unit, followed by the USB-A to USB-C cable, 80W SUPERVOOC adaptor, FREE transparent case, paperworks for quick guide, and safety guide, as well as the SIM injector tool.
Build Quality/Design
Upon picking it up, you're immediately struck by how light it feels, especially given its substantial battery. Despite having a standard footprint, it sits comfortably in the hand—feeling compact and just the right size.
 |
| The back of the OPPO Reno15 F 5G |
The build is reassuringly solid front and back, showing no flex even under deliberate pressure.
Additionally, it inherits its predecessor's strong commitment to IP protection, boasting an IP66/68/69 rating for robust defense against dust and water.
This makes it a versatile choice, reliably resistant to rain, splashes, temporary immersion, and daily exposure to dirt and dust. As with any device, this durability is designed for real-world conditions, not intentional abuse, as performance may diminish over time with excessive wear.
Impressive looks for the Twilight Blue variant
The design of our Twilight Blue unit is notably minimalist. The matte-finish rear reveals a subtle glow upon rotation, creating a sophisticated effect that's distinctly different from the flashier, special-effect style of the Aurora Blue version.
There's also the Afterglow Pink for those who prefer a more feminine design.
Inside the camera island, you will also notice some tiny glitter effects. To us, it reminds us of looking at the starry night sky.
Meanwhile, the back itself has good resistance to fingerprint smudges, provided that you don't have oily hands. If you do, there will be prints left, but they will go away in 2-3 seconds.
 |
| The display |
At the front, you'll find the 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ 2372 x 1080 at 397 and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a typical 600 nits brightness and can go up to 1400 nits.
It also has dual glass protection, such as Corning Gorilla Glass+ and AGC-DT Star+, giving it an extra safety just in case you accidentally drop it.
 |
| Good for media consumption |
Initially, the display looks great with its sharp details, balanced color tones, and good contrast with deep blacks. It's also pleasant to look at with its proportionate slim bezel,s while there's also a typical 120Hz touch sampling rate and it can reach 240Hz max.
 |
| Left and right sides |
On the left side, you'll see a blank space, while the right portion has a power button and volume rockers.
 |
| The top and bottom |
Up top, there are three holes, while below you'll find a USB-C port, a speaker hole, and a SIM card slot. The stereo sound is completed with the earpiece speaker located at the top of the screen.
Inside, the phone packs a 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB storage. So far, the performance is smooth in early use, but our full review will deliver the verdict.
With a massive 7,000mAh battery, its battery life is expected to be impressive.
 |
| The cameras |
Camera-wise, the device uses a 50MP f/1.8 1/2-inch SC532HS OIS main camera with AF + 8MP OV08DD 16mm ultra-wide camera + 2MP f/2.4 OV02B macro camera.
For selfies, the Reno15 F 5G has a Samsung JN5 ultra-wide camera with a 1/2.75-inch size and an f/2.0 aperture. It can record 4K, 1080p, and 720p resolution but is limited to 30 fps.
We'll share camera samples soon.
