Make your outdoor parties loud

LG has added the xBOOM Blast to its xBOOM speaker lineup, just over a month after unveiling the portable Boom and Grab models. The speaker is designed for outdoor use, including camping and parties, and is set to launch in global markets this month.

The xBOOM Blast delivers up to 220W of output on AC power and 210W on battery power, placing it in a similar output range to the xBOOM Stage 501, which LG released in late 2025.

The speaker features LG's Signature Sound tuning, developed in collaboration with will.i.am, and is equipped with two 5.25-inch neodymium woofers and two 20mm tweeters from Danish audio manufacturer Peerless. Additional features include virtual sound field technology, RGB ambient lighting, and wireless pairing with other xBOOM Blast units for multi-speaker setups. The device has a fabric-wrapped exterior and an integrated carrying strap.

The Blast uses a replaceable 99Wh battery rated for up to 36 hours of playback per charge, compared to the 30-hour rating of the xBOOM Bounce, which LG launched in India earlier this year. The removable battery allows users to swap in a fresh one rather than waiting for a recharge during extended use.

The speaker carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and has passed seven military-grade durability tests, consistent with other xBOOM by will.i.am models. It also includes AI-based real-time sound adjustment and LG's Space Calibration Pro feature, which adapts audio output to the surrounding environment.

  • Fabric-wrapped body with carrying strap
  • Up to 220W or 210W (on battery) sound output
