SteelSeries Alias, Alias Pro microphones now in PH: Prism RGB, Condenser type, AI Noise Cancelling

SteelSeries brings its first-ever streaming microphone for gamers in the Philippines called the Alias and Alias Pro.

Both the Alias and Alias Pro feature a 1-inch/25mm clear cast capsule with a condenser microphone that records in a Cardioid polar pattern. It has a resolution or sample rate of 24 bit/48KHz, a frequency response of 50Hz - 20 KHz, and a Max SPL of 120dB.

Only the Pro Plus connects via XLR (instead of USB-C) and will require +48V DC Phantom Power.

Users can monitor the sound through the 5-stage LED, the Mute icon and through headphones via the 3.5mm headphone jack. The microphone has quick controls for microphone gain, headphone gain and an instant mute button.

The Alias microphone has Prism RGB on the microphone while the Alias Pro has RGB on the Stream mixer.

Both can be mounted to a box that includes an anti-vibration shock mount or a Boom arm with a 3/8-inch and 5/8-inch thread Boom Arm adapter.

The microphone measures 110 x 130 x 230mm when mounted on the stand and will weigh 205 grams without the stand or 750 grams when mounted on the stand.

Inside the box are the microphone, desktop stand, USB-C to USB-A cable, Boom Arm adapter and documentation.

The SteelSeries Alias Pro is now available in the Philippines through Lazada and Shopee while the Alias Microphone will be available later this October 2023.
