OPPO introduced Android 14-based ColorOS 14 with an Aquamorphic design, AI-powered features, Snapchat integration and more for the global market.
OPPO' Aquamorphic design returns from ColorOS 14 but is claimed to be more optimized and will take more advantage of the harmonious connection between humans and technology but with new sound effects, color systems, interactions and more.
It will adapt and be more updated to the status, time and notifications the user receives. It will match colors with context which should make the information you receive more effective and intuitive. Bubbles and panels can now be expanded from the status bar and show important information with minimal distractions.
Smart Touch, OPPO's new AI-powered tool allows users to select pieces of content like text, images and video from the system or third-party app and it will collect them on the File Dock or even consolidate them into one note by selecting and dropping content. The same File Dock lives on the Smart Sidebar which allows users to share content across multiple apps either full screen, split screen, floating windows or through File Dock itself.
OPPO has also updated its Trinity engine which should enhance the stability and smoothness of your device with features like ROM Vitalization, RAM Vitalization and CPU Vitalization. It also enhances Smart Charging by adjusting the charging current based on the user's usage status.
For safety and security, OPPO introduces Picture Keeper. It aims to prevent apps from misusing permissions to access your personal photos or videos. Apps will need to obtain permission to access that kind of content each time after the user enables this new permission management.
OPPO and Snapchat have collaborated again this year to introduce the new Snapchat lock-screen shortcut and Snapchat widget for Shelf.
