Both the base and Pro versions are quite identical in design with that water reflection-like effect in colors of Blue Green and White. The Black version stays plain and matte for those who prefer a low-key design.

The most notable here would be the improved AuraLight, unlike the previous version these two have a wider squarish-shaped LED on their camera island alongside the LED flash inside which in theory should provide better lighting.

At the front, they are similar as well with a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 2800 x 1260 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,800 nits of max brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

Inside, the base S18 gets a 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The S18 Pro gets the more powerful 3.35GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ octa-core processor with Immortalis-G715 GPU. It is paired with faster 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of battery, the two have a 5,000mAh capacity with USB-C 80W flash charging.

On the camera side, the S18 ises 50MP OmniVision OV50E main sensor with OIS, LED flash, 8MP Omnivision OV08D10 ultra-wide shooter,

For the S18 Pro, the phone uses a 50MP Sony IMX920 main camera with OIS, LED flash + a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide shooter + a 12MP Sony IMX663 2x telephoto sensor.

At the front, both have 50MP shooters.

Up next, it will be the vivo S18e. A lower version from the rest with a different design and circular camera island. It gets 2 LED flash instead of the AuraLight technology, unlike its siblings.

At the front, it has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, up to 1800 nits of max brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside, it is powered with a 2.8GHz MTK Dimensity 7200 4nm octa-core processor with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

For battery, it has a 4,600mAh capacity that charges with a similar 80W flash charge adaptor.

In the camera department, it uses the 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with an OIS + 2MP depth shooter. At the front, it has a 16MP camera f/2.0 camera.

All three devices' other features mentioned are stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, an IP54 rating, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Connectivity-wise, these phones have 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

These phones are now available in China. No word yet for other markets at the moment.
