Samsung released three professional Windows-powered notebooks with a focus on AI.
The Galaxy Book 4 series comprises three versions, the Pro, the Pro 360 (convertible), and the top-end Ultra model.
All of the variants feature a 3K resolution AMOLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and anti-glare coating. On the other hand, the 360 and Ultra version gets the bigger 16-inch size display, while the Pro can be configured in 14-inch or 16-inch options.
Inside, these laptops are powered with the newest Intel Core Ultra processors that are equipped with Neural Processing Units (NPU) to handle AI-related tasks. These processors are also the first from Intel to carry NPUs.
Speaking of which, users may pick either the Core Ultra 9 + NVIDIA RTX 4070 (8B) or the Core Ultra 7 and RTX 4050 (6GB) options.
For memory, there are 16GB to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM choices and 512GB/1TB/2TB SSDs with expansion slots available.
On the battery side, they have 76WHR that charges using a USB-C and 65W adapter.
Another is that Samsung included an improved cooling solution with an 11 percent wider vapor chamber and dual fans with uneven blade spacing.
Samsung also revealed its new software features like the cross-device video editing, and photo remastering feature to improve the collaboration within Samsung devices. The Switch option allows seamless connection to Galaxy Buds 2 Pro with your device.
The laptop also features 4x speakers comprising 2x 5W woofers and 2x 2W tweeter from AKG and supports Dolby Atmos. Its dual microphones also support noise cancellation features thanks to the help of AI to achieve what Samsung claims is "studio quality".
For ports, the Book4 series comes with HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and USB-A.
Based on the photos, they run Windows 11 Operating System.
Unfortunately, there is no pricing as of the moment but they will launch in the week 1 of January 2024 so from that it is expected that we will see how much they cost.
Stay tuned for now.
