Alongside the rest of its siblings, Chinese mobile maker Xiaomi today formally launched the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ in an event here in Bangkok, Thailand.

The new Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G brings several upgrades and refinements in durability, design, and overall performance versus its predecessor.

The display

It now has an IP68 water and dust-resistant body and Gorilla Glass Victus-protected 6.67-inch 12-bit 120Hz AMOLED screen with 1.5K 2712 x 1220 resolution at 446 ppi and In-Display fingerprint reader. This display also has TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free and Circadian certifications as well as DCI-P3 wide color gamut, Dolby Vision, Reading mode, and 1,800 nits of peak brightness.

For specs, the handset is now powered by the 2.8GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra octa-core processor with Mali-G610 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with super-fast 120W HyperCharge via USB-C.

The main highlight of the phone is its 200MP f/1.65 main shooter with Super QPD Autofocus and OIS. It also has 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 macro + LED flash.

In front, you still get the 16MP f/2.45 snapper.
