Xiaomi releases Redmi Note 12 Pro+ w/ Dimensity 1080 and 200MP cam!
Surprise! Xiaomi today has launched the entire Redmi Note 12 series. Arguably, the star of the launch is the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ featuring a massive main camera sensor.

200MP on a Redmi!
In particular, the said device is boasting a massive 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung HPX sensor with 2.24μm pixels, 16-in-1 pixel binning, OIS, and a 7P element lens.
To ensure that the phone can handle this large camera effectively, Xiaomi paired it with the new 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor with the Imagiq ISP that supports up to 200MP resolution. This is the first phone to use this chipset.

The device also has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1920Hz High Frequency PWM Dimming, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, an In-Display fingerprint scanner, and a top-center notch for the front camera.
It also has 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 120W fast charging support.
The rest of the cameras include an 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera + 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro camera (eto na naman tayo) at the back and a 16MP selfie shooter in front.
Then, you will also find super-linear stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone slot, IR Blaster remote control, WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
Keeping its performance in check is the 3000mm² VC liquid cooling heat dissipation tech.
It measures 162.9 x 76 x 8.98 mm and weighs 208.4 grams.

For its starting price, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is probably the most affordable with a 200MP main camera yet.
There is no word on its international release yet though.
