HUAWEI MateBook D14 SE 12th Gen launched!

Earlier this year we saw them release an 11th Gen version this time a 12th Gen Core Edition was launched in China!

The device itself

A new MateBook from HUAWEI!

Just like its predecessors, the laptop arrives in a metal unibody design. It is just 15.9mm thin and weighs 1.38kg.

All-metal body!

As the name suggests, it uses a 14-inch IPS panel with FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution at 157 PPI and 16:9 aspect ratio. There's also a 180-degree hinge placed on it which means you can tilt it. It also has an 84 percent screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 250 nits. The display also has TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free. While the color gamut will be 45 percent NTSC.

14-inch display

Inside, it is equipped with a 10nm 4.4GHz Intel Core i5-1235U 10-core processor with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. It is coupled with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD.

The new D14 is also powered with a 56WHr battery and charges using 65W power brick.

It has an HD pop-up webcam for video conferences and also has dual stereo speakers, dual microphones, and a fingerprint reader on the power button.

Connectivity wise it has, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 1x USB-A 3.1 Gen 1, 1x USB-A 2.0, 1x USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

For OS, it runs Windows 11 out of the box and supports Huawei Mult-Screen Collaboration as well as the Super Device feature.=

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

The laptop is up for pre-order in China and has CNY 200 discount (around PHP 1.6K). However, there's no news yet for its availability in the Philippines.
