CNN to discontinue operations on January 31, 2024

The earlier reports were true, CNN Philippines just confirmed that the company is shutting down after 9 years of operations.

Turning the final page of the CNN Philippines newsroom's story. We are forever grateful for the stories we've shared, the audience we've served, and to our dedicated team for their commitment to uphold the values of truth, accuracy, fairness, and accountability.

The company also thanked the Filipino People.

CNN Philippines will discontinue operations on all media platforms effective Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The company is one of the most trusted sources of news and information and is accessible via free-to-air TV, cable, and digital platforms.

To recap, CNN Philippines first aired on March 16, 2015. It is a part of ALC Group of Companies and Nine Media Corp. headed by D. Edgard Cabangon.
