Apart from the OnePlus 12 announcement, the brand also introduced the OnePlus 12R.
In terms of design, the phone leans more on simpler side matte color choices such as Iron Gray and Cool Blue.
At the front, the phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with LTPO 1-120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, 4,500 nits of max brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and even supports wet hand control.
Inside, the phone is powered by the 3.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with New Adreno GPU, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, 5,500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC charging.
For cameras, the OnePlus 12R is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX890 main shooter with an OIS + 8MP ultra-wide sensor + 2MP macro helper. For selfies, it has a 16MP shooter
Other features are the three-stage alert slider and in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
Connectivity-wise, it has 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G LTE, WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM.
The phone runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14 skin out of the box.

The phone will be available at Amazon India, OnePlus online and offline experience stores. There's no word yet for other regions as now. We will update you once it's in the Philippines.
