realme 12 Pro launched: SD 6 Gen 1, 50MP Sony IMX882, and 32MP IMX709 telephoto shooter!

Apart from the realme 12 Pro+, the brand also launched the base 12 Pro.

The phone's premium design

Similar to its sibling, the phone features a Rolex-inspired design by Ollivier Saveo. It is available in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue colorways.

At the front, the phone has a 6.7-inch 2412 x 1080 Full HD+ curved AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 1260Hz instant touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 950 nits max brightness.

Inside, the device is equipped with a 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage.

For battery, it has a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using a 67W SuperVOOC adaptor.

For the camera, the realme 12 Pro sports a 50MP Sony IMX882 + 32MP IMX709 imager with 2x telephoto and 4x optical zoom. The third camera will be the ultra-wide angle shooter. On the selfie side, it has a 16MP camera.

The features

Just like the Pro+ version, this device adopts realme's MasterShot Algorithm that improves image processing. realme says the phone can process RAW domains, bringing clear photos, dynamic range, and realistic cinematic portraits.

It also has the ProXDR technology that analyzes images transmitted by the camera optimizing the photo effects for an improved range of brightness and dynamic range.

Other features noted are a 3D VC cooling system with a 3394mm2 vapor chamber. It also has an In-Display fingerprint reader, an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

For connectivity, the phone has 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs on Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 skin on top.
